I think it’s always fun to see what will start hitting stores the last part of December into early 2018. (Can you believe it’s almost 2018?!?!) I am already loving many looks of different home furnishings and products that are soon to hit stores. Be prepared for woods accents, metal finishings, shades of purple, and minimalist design.

Woods and Nature
Love the look of natural elements? You’ll see lots of wood elements from small furnishings to large home interior accents like beams, live edge countertops, and shelving.
You’ll see brass, gold, and bronze anywhere from lamps, wall art, centerpieces, to hardware. I am always a fan of beautiful metallic finishes when done right!
To be honest, I haven’t been the biggest fan of Pantone’s Color of the Year choices for the past few years. But there’s no denying that purple is in for 2018. You’ll see lilacs and lavender making a big comeback! You may also see a twist on last year’s Pantone Color of the Year…green! Specifically, more of an emerald green popular, especially with light pink accents and gold.
Scandinavian design has been in for quite sometime… Clean lines, neutral colors, and natural elements not only are timeless but perfect for almost any space, due to their versatility. I think you’ll be seeing more of this in the coming year. And what better excuse than to declutter and save money, right? Minimalism is here to stay.
