The sun is shining and that means spring is soon to arrive. It’s time to revamp, refresh, and decorate for spring. But what if you don’t have a massive budget? I have several tips on how you can achieve festive spring decor without breaking the bank.

- Shop Your Home. Using items that you already have is the best way to save money when decorating in general. Find unique ways to repurpose items to create visual interest.
- Add Color. Spring means color–for this tutorial I stuck with blues and greens. When the season progresses, I can bring in natural florals that I find in my own backyard. When they start to bloom, I can easily switch up my faux greenery for tulips, lilacs, and/or peonies.
- Use Texture. Visual interest is more than just color and height–it’s texture too. I love how adding a textured element can completely change a look. In my example, I brought in texture on multiple levels. This included using a mahogany tray to add height and wood grains as a backdrop to an antique etched glass cream vase. Adding a diagonal texture of a basket, plant, or textured pillow brought these textures together.
- Have Fun. Try something new. Don’t be afraid to play–you never know what doing something different can totally change a look.
