Family. Isn’t it amazing that 4ish years ago my husband and I would of been having a romantic date night, no kids in sight? Now I’m sitting here rocking our second baby to sleep, hoping for a nap 😴 myself? My how things change—but so much for the better. As our family evolves so does this little corner of Instagram/Facebook. I still love a good DIYs, home decor, and design. But I think 🤔 more and more that if I’m going to be real with you, those things are really just things. Family is a gift. Kids are miracles. So, lets let go of these silly little material objects and instead make time for family. Put down the phone, snuggle a little longer, and find experiences rather than things. .

Embracing the calm while I can. I love basking in the warm Christmas lights and am excited to be holding both our babies (👧🏻 + 👶🏻) in front of the Christmas tree, soon. “Cheers” to the weekend. My kiddo seemed fine after preschool but now has a low grade fever 🤒. I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. Cold and flu season sucks...period. Pray for us that it’s just a little bug! I’d rather get the sickness now before baby comes but I hate it all the same. Here’s to extra fluids, a lazy weekend, and lots of snuggles.
